I am the director of First Presby and I also work as a consulting teacher for Responsive Classroom. In my role as a consulting teacher, I travel around the country to train teachers how to teach social/emotional skills alongside engaging academics in a classroom setting. I love sharing this methodology with teachers!

I have been a teacher, administrator, trainer and coach for early childhood programs all across CT for 30 plus years. My full time role is that of Early Start Liaison in the city of Waterbury, where I oversee 107 funded classrooms in both public school and private centers.

Molly Milligan
Site Manager, Warburg Center and Gateway Preschool. Molly received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Molloy College in English, and her Masters in Childhood Education/Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Math, Science and Technology. After over 10 years in the classroom, she has made the switch to management and has been with Family Centers since 2019. For the last two years, Molly has managed the three preschool classrooms at Gateway Preschool and oversees the infant/toddler program at both sites.

I am a former teacher and spent >10 yrs at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) in the Language Diversity & Literacy Development Research Group. While there, I worked with schools across the U.S., implementing science-based reading instruction and training hundreds of teachers on the science of reading and the importance of oral language development in particular. I left HGSE to design a simple way for schools to work with families on developing strong readers because we won't improve reading outcomes at scale until families are included productively during the learning-to-read years (birth - grade 3).

As a passionate STEAM Specialist I am dedicated to fostering curiosity and creativity in preschool learners. Guided by my belief that learning is most powerful when it’s hands-on, playful, and student-centered, I create engaging experiences that encourage exploration and discovery across Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Committed to nurturing each child’s natural curiosity and unique strengths, I design a learning environment where critical thinking and problem-solving skills grow alongside imagination. Through collaboration with educators and families, I support an inclusive, joyful approach to early STEAM education that inspires a lifelong love of learning and innovation.

I'm Kellie Norrgard, a mother of four, who raised my children in Greenwich. Some of whom navigated significant mental health challenges and are now thriving in careers supporting mental wellness themselves. Their journeys inspired my commitment to helping educators and families build practical self-regulation skills through my work in early childhood education and the healing arts. As a trained Sound Therapist as well as over 10 years of early childhood classroom experience, I created a Mindfulness & Movement program. Implemented in more than three Greenwich preschools from 2009 to 2020, later expanding this work to schools across Stamford, Greenwich, and Long Island and supporting high school students and staff through Domus.

Teachers and families are at the heart of my work, guiding my commitment to integrating playful, sensory, and sound-based practices into learning environments. My mission is to equip educators with developmentally grounded, evidence-informed tools that gently shift the nervous system, helping children and staff regulate, find calm, and make empowered choices throughout the day. I bring this passion and experience into my workshop, Shift with Sound, designed to support emotional regulation, classroom connection, and teacher well-being.

Lawton and I have both been early childhood educators at Bridges for over 7 years. We have traveled to Reggio Emilia, Italy for professional development. Lawton teaches a mixed age group of 3,4,and 5 year olds. I teach in the 2's classroom.
